RUN. This place is toxic. They have a horrible director who tells you what you want to here just to get you in the door. Money hungry and do not care about the children. Looked up the director to find that her previous school has terrible reviews.
They left my son crying in a crib and ignored him for 25 mins. Upon pointing this out to the director, she had no remorse and remained defensive and unbothered. She said we don’t know for sure that he was crying because there was no audio... in the video, his arms and legs were flailing, his mouth was open and he was bright red. That entire day he was only fed 4 oz when he was supposed to have 12 oz. His soft spot was sunken in (dehydrated). When we picked him up that day we noticing two huge spots of spit up in his crib. He’d been crying and choking on spit up for 25 mins. They neglected my child and I have reported them to licensing.
We visited this place 4 times over the course of a month to determine if it would be a good fit. During this time, they said they changed activities every 15 mins - most definitely a lie.
They said they do not let babies cry it out and the video footage showed that was a lie.
Be careful, they tell you all the right things at this place. They told us he would have two teachers in the room - an opener and a closer... she was not a closer and more teachers came into the room an hour or two before closing... they don’t focus on the children and are only concerned with cleaning to room during this time.
In the video we observed that they do not sanitize toys after other kids have placed them in their mouth.
Don’t be fooled by the curriculum on the wall. They literally eat, sleep get placed in mamaroo, tummy time and back time all day. No reading books, no circle time, no singing. When asking the director about it, she claimed they were understaffed.
His first day there he was on his tummy on the floor screaming when I came to get him. When the teacher saw me, she went to grab him and I took him from her, he had spit up all over his face. He’d been laying in his spit up crying for help while she was busy cleaning up to leave.
After seeing those videos and our conversation with the director, we do not trust this place and will be letting other parents know so they aren’t placed in the same position.
They say all the right things, but don’t fall for it. Huge waste of our time, money and a terrible two days for our little one.
In two days he developed a rash around his mouth, diaper rash, neck rash and a cold.
They broke his spoon and the director said it would not be replaced... I escalated this to the owner, Megan, of which the director initially refused to connect me with. She ended up replacing the spoon but refused to refund the prorated balance because of the “agreed upon policy”... Instead said that he can be dropped off for 3 days... who in their right mind would return to this place for 3 more days?! If they need the money THAT bad, they can keep it. They should truly be ashamed of themselves and I take comfort in knowing that God sees all....
I pray this helps other parents avoid the terrible experience we had.
