Description: Wilson Elementary, named after Katy ISD teacher and administrator Tom Wilson, opened its doors in August 2012. Throughout his career, Mr. Wilson worked to establish a school environment where every child felt respected, safe and encouraged to learn to the best of their ability. He has served as a mentor and role model for what teaching should be. His commitment to education expanded beyond the campus level through recruitment of teachers and the coordination of student teacher programs in Katy.
