Stay away if u do not want your child hungry, thirsty, being attended to, welcomed, cared for, or loved like their own. I wish i would have been warned.

thought long and hard about placing this here but i feel like I wish someone would have warned me. It might be long, stay with me. I toured several daycares in the area and although they were quite crowded, i decided to let my child take a tour and meet the teacher before i made the big decision. Now mind u, my child has been in child care before so i know how it goes. We look around all goes well, start talking to the teacher and i see a child reach over and pinch another child VERY hard. The teacher didnt see it so i brought it to her attention. The teacher gets onto the wrong child and after i explain what happened, she doesnt tell them not to hit or to keep their hands to themselves, only to sit down and eat her cookies. I shouldve known then. But i gave them the benefit of the doubt. i enroll my child and begin. Day one: my child is welcomed with open arms and excitement. I stay long enough to make sure my child is okay, then leave. Day two: i walk in, notice the kids eating the same thing as the day before for breakfast and say my goodbyes as my little one starts to fuss a little and i go to work. I pick my kid up and just like day one, is in her extra clothes, they have lost my childs cup, they cant tell me where my kids dirty clothes are and ask that i get with the teacher the next day. I get to the parking lot and notice my kid still has the snack i left in the backpack. They are encouraged to bring their own snacks and i noticed why. So we did, but they were not given, even after making sure they knew my kid brought food and drink. My kid eats the snack and asks for more. My child also has a huge 2 scratches on the elbow, which could be from anything, on the other arm i see a swollen place and a scab, looking like a fingernail pinch or dig. Day 3: i stay a little longer while dropping my child off and notice same breakfast, teachers in the corner talking, no interaction with the children. Almost as if they were spectators. At pick up, again my kid is dirty, in the extra clothes, i check for new scratches, bite marks, etc. Snack is still in the backpack, and i walk back to check the cubby assigned. I gather all the dirty items and thank goodness tmw is friday. Day four, yes it was a short week, we made it to friday, walk in, same thing. Same food, teachers huddled in the corner, no hi and bye, kids running wild. I can not be late so i drop and go. At pick-up, i walk in and my kid is standing in the baby room bright red and screaming. My kid isnt known to cry for no reason, and though my baby is clumsy my kid doesnt cry even when in pain. Something isnt right, my mothers intuition is screaming. I check for boo boos. My kid has little bumps everywhere but nothing else aside from scabs from past incidents. I ask where the cup is, if my kid was given the snack i provided, and noone knows anything. I ask Frankie, the male employee who i felt comfortable talking to, to keep an extra eye on my kid, and he says he will. Mind you, i call at lunchtime to check on my kid every other day as not to be too much of a bother. My child eats, drinks 2 12oz drinks, and passes out on the way home. THIS IS AN EVERYDAY OCCURRENCE. Monday comes around and it comes time for drop off. Same food, same teacher gossip in the corner, same kids doing whatever. My kid throws a fit, and at this point i KNOW something isnt right. Monday afternoon, my kid is in the usual room dirty, hungry, thirsty, tired, and i asked if the day went any better. Snack is still in the backpack. I go to talk to the director and she wants to talk about money. Mind you, its monday, i now owe for current week, not last week. She is extremely rude as i begin to share my concerns. I go immediately to the room assigned and gather all my childs belongings, and notice a picture my child colored. I assume the direction was to color the apple red. My kid knows all the colors and has since 1 1/5. The apple was purple and had a note on it written by the teacher that it was cored the wrong color with exclamation points and underlined. I got all my childs items, and left.

I used to go there as a baby until I was four obviously. But it was called A Brighter Future then. I used to love that place. I'm fourteen now and I go to visit every once in awhile. When you do pick up your child you will see the kids watching a movie but that's cause its now the end of the day and they had just woken up and eaten their snack. I do promise they are well watched.

Very clean and nice. My kids love it here and the caregivers are very friendly and helpful! My kids learn things and they get homework done usually before picked up!

My child came home dirty every day and every single time I picked him up he was parked in front of the TV. If you care about your child, don't send them here.
