THE STORY BEHIND THE INNOVATION OF THIS SCHOOL IS A GREAT CONTRIBUTION TO THE COMMUNITY AND THE US AS A WHOLE. During the 50' and 60's when moms had to enter the workforce one woman and her husband devloped one of the first professional child care schools in the State of Florida. Ms. Annie loved children and wanted to make sure they had a fun place to go while mom and dad's struggled and an opportunity for quality education. She started one of the first kindergarten programs and graduated 250 children in her first class. She innovated a Before and Afterschool Program, the first in the county and Florida. Her husband, Mr. Charles was a builder and built many of the existing child cares which have now been sold to other companies.
This campus is a learning campus for teachers and interns as well as rated one of the safest School Zone areas in Tampa. Over 50 years with no incidents. In addition, the school is a private school that offers Free Scholarships for Elementary Schools ages Toddlers to 6th grade. Then Before and Afterschool programs. The great thing is they don't have the overhead many new schools have for mortgages, and loans. Dont forget when you see that nice new building someone like you is paying for it in tuition.
Finally, wiht all the crime and non discipline in the public schools, this school encourages respect for authority, following safety rules, respect and non bullying and they have an absolute no tolerance rules. My kids are grown but if I they were of age I would gladly put them in this school.
I encourage parents who want structure and discipline with love and procedure process for safety to join with others and enroll.

I would highly recommend this center and staff. My children came to Humpty Dumpty while I was having a really rough time during a life change. They are part of the over 200,000 children they have helped. They helped me and my kids so much. They worked with my support group to maintain a great environment for my children during the rough time. Yes, my children had behavior issues because of what was going on, but their understanding and discipline program helped them to make good decisions and to problem solve. My children are all older now and making the Principals honor roll. They said it takes a village to raise children but if you dont' have the experience of folks like this school it could hinder not help. They have been around longer than most child care centers in the state of Florida. They really have a lot of grant, educational and other support. Thanks HDA from your extended family.
I am on the PTA board. I can not believe this mother would send such a review. This was not a good fit for her. Her children were bullying the other children. She too tried to bully staff and other parents whose children did not agreed with her own. She said they were small, but they were larger and stronger than the other children their age and she mentored them to solve problems with their abusive mouth and hands. The family was finally dismissed from the program because behavior. The school has a safe environment and is line with all public and state guidelines for anti-bullying. No tolerance rule applies and this family could not abide by the rules. I volunteer with a large number of parents. We saw and observed this behavior. I am glad we have the opportunity thanks to social media to expess the truth. This has been around over 50 years with the newest in innovations and early learning research and teaching. It is a mentoring school to university college students. It takes a village to raise children. Some people want others to take responsibility for theirs. Qualtiy parents understand these issues.
If I could I wouldn't give this daycare one star! They are unprofessional. They are unethical and have cause nothing but stress to my kids and I life. I'm a RCG and both of my kids has a disability I was told that they are supposed to charge me more because of that. I transferred them as of the day.
I had my two children in here and one day I forgot to tell the director a concern something to due with my relative picking up my child, well I walked right in the cafeteria where all the kids are gathered in the morning only to hear THE DIRECTOR yell at a toddler ( are you stupid ). I felt so awful about leaving my children there that day because the director quickly saw me when she said that. Poor child who was there, all I saw was tear-drops coming from his face. All because the toddler threw or spilled his breakfast on the floor. Not only that but I picked up my 6 month old daughter at Humpty Dumpty and saw ant bites all over her legs. I was furious with them only to have them tell me that those are flea bites. I was really pissed at that point because I don't own any pets. I must have felt so much gilt that last day for not pulling my children out of that s*** hole so called daycare...PARENTS PLEASE LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR TINY LITTLE ONES HERE.
This place is phenomenal! From daycare to preschool and beyond, Two kids later. The whole staff is caring, supporting, informaative, and provide so much enrichment to the little one's lives. My kids started there in daycare and graduated through the preschool program. (ceremony and all) Now, the youngest is in kindergarten and the other in first. They have achieved star reader of the month, student of the month, and honor roll. And at least three other parents that were in the same class is doing the same! All thanks to everyone at Humpty Dumpty they are able to achieve greatness and the sky is the limit. Stopped in today just to say thanks and found out they are in the top 3 of the state! Thats a lot of competition! Highly recommended and tell them Danielle Foster sent you!
