Young At Heart Day Care

I toured this facility in May '16. This is definitely not a place to take a child. If you want your child to get a great education and learn something, this place isn't equipped for that. The classrooms reminded me of an outdated 1980's pediatric DR'S office waiting room. They had a tv playing and the kids were behaving like animals. No control at all. If you are just looking for a babysitter, than this is a place for you.

I toured this facility with the owner and I was not impressed. Each room had a television and the television was on showing non educational cartoons when I toured the preschool room. The teacher was sitting at a desk watching the kids watch tv, no interaction or stimulation for these young children. When I asked the preschool teacher what the curriculum was she talked about coloring and cutting with scissors. I actually had to ask if they did any work with numbers or letters!! I had high hopes for this facility and was disappointed. Good preschool and childcare options are lacking on this side of Garnet Valley.
