Hello Everyone,
My name is Tammie Cherry. I was just informed about the review on here. It is very misleading. Little Dreamers Children Center used to known as Young World. Owned by Jan Mattern. Jan owned the center for 40 years. Jan retired in June of 2019. I purchased the center in JULY 2020. The review written is misleading due to the fact that it was written in 2014. It was STILL YOUNG WORLD. The center did not become LITTLE DREAMERS YET.
I have worked in Childcare for over 40 years. My desire to help guide each child in my care to their full potential.
I describe Little Dreamers Children Center as a place children from 2 to 12 to come and meet new friends. learn at their own pace as their teachers guide them throughout the learning process. We learn through song, stories, free play and interacting with peers. During this time the children learn to share. learn how to get along and even how to react and respond when someone is not being friendly.
As for my teachers and bullying. NEVER ALLOWED IN MY CENTER. EVER. I expect each of my staff to treat EVERY CHILD WITH RESPECT, KINDNESS AND UNDERSTANDING. I just wanted everyone who sees this to know that this was not Little Dreamers. If you need reviews from parents who are attending, we can accomplish the goal.
I have been useing this daycare for little over a year now and would not take my children anywhere else. The staff are very friendly and great with my kids, and they have been a tremendous blessing to me helping my kids get through the online learning during the pandemic. I trust them completely with my kids educations anf well being. Definitely a place worth checking out!
I had two children attend the summer day camp here. They would share from time to time some of the difficulties they had with the other children. I addressed these with staff and thought that things were fine. On the last day of camp my kids shared some disturbing stories of girls forcing a little boy to eat bugs, kids refusing to let mine play with them, and other bullying behavior. On top of that when the transportation vehicle broke down my children were transported in staff vehicles and were not sitting in appropriate child car seats. If you aren't part of the in crowd here you're going to be shunned. It's been several months and my children still talk about how horrible they were treated.
