The staff member was immediately required to complete pediatric CPR and first training as well. Until the proper pediatric CPR first aid training was completed, staff person #3 was not permitted to care for children unsupervised. Moving forward, administration will verify that all required pre service trainings, including Pediatric CPR and pediatric first aid are completed and documented before any staff member is permitted to work with children unsupervised. |

Effective immediately all cleaning products, disinfectants, sanitizers, aerosols, and any other toxic or hazardous materials will be stored in a locked cabinets or in areas that are completely inaccessible to children at all times. To ensure ongoing compliance, the following corrective actions will be implemented. A complete inspection of every classroom and common area has been conducted to verify that all hazardous materials are properly secured. Any cleaning products that were found outside of designated locked storage area were immediately removed and secured. Classroom storage areas will be checked daily by teaching staff and monitored by management to ensure compliance. |
