| Findings: Proper supervision was not practiced as the provider had taken 2 children out front to help with watering the plants. While the provider was retrieving the watering can, the children wandered off. A civilian saw the children standing by the road and returned them to the facility. When they tried to take them back in to the facility it was locked and appeared as the facility was closed. Resolution: Children are no longer able to go out front with staff to water plants. Multiple barriers have been installed including a locking door at the entry requiring staff to let you in, a solid half door with a locking mechanism on one side so the provider has to reach over to open it but children cannot (separates office from main room of childcare), same type of half door on the baby room. | |||
