Findings: The school has a new pre-k aide that started at that began at the beginning of this school year. A personnel list with her added was received at the time of the inspection. In addition, there are 2 staff who did not return this year. The staff have now been deleted on a staff change form received at the inspection.

The reference number will be utilized to complete a 365-day form. She will complete her notarized release this week and send it to licensing for clearing. New staff may not work with children until cleared by this office. In the future, please ensure all new staff have completed the required clearances prior to beginning work with children. She did complete all clearances required for the school as she is an employee of the school.

Findings: Four of the pre-kindergarten children's files were missing the consumer pamphlet receipt. Please ensure the families of LL, ES/PS and TW are given the consumer pamphlet and receipt is documented.

Findings: The program hired a new before and after care staff person in August 2021. The licensing specialist was not notified of this person until the conversion inspection today. The program is reminded to let the licensing specialist know of any new hires within 5 working days. A completed criminal background check nor notarized release form was received for this staff person. The regulations require at least the Maryland or federal criminal background check as well as the cleared notarize release be completed prior to a person working with children. The program was advised to complete his clearances as soon as possible.
