2019-02-26 Mandatory Review 13A.16.08.02A Corrected
Findings: The aide was alone with a group of children in the gym when specialist arrived. The teacher was in the cafeteria with some children. The aide may not be left alone with a group of children as she is not qualified as a teacher. Center is reminded that since one person is an aide and one person is a teacher the group must operate as a whole and not separate. If there were two qualified teachers then the group could separate as long as each teacher didn't have more than 15 children.
2019-02-26 Mandatory Review 13A.16.03.03B(1) Corrected
Findings: The sign in/out sheet had some children missing. It appears that two parents had signed in on Monday instead of today (Tuesday) and one child wasn't signed in. Center needs to be sure that parents are signing in accurately. Center could cross out the blanks from the day before so that parents don't sign in on the wrong space. This was corrected during visit.
2019-02-26 Mandatory Review 13A.16.11.03A Corrected
Findings: The hand washing posters were not up at the sinks. The school just replaced the hand dryers with paper towel dispensers and have not replaced the hand washing posters. Center needs to post them.
