Description: Head Start is a national program that aims to promote school readiness in our youngest children. Children can enter Head Start at age 3 or 4 in the fall and continue for one or two years in the program.
Gaston Community Action's Head Start Program has 8 Head Start centers and serves 650 children in Gaston and Lincoln Counties. Each Head Start center is designed to meet the needs of the children, families and cultures that they serve.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
