I witnessed my child being injured at the school. Once the legal proceedings are complete I will give a full and detailed review about what transpired. Please please please, do your homework and find another facility for your child.
Seems like most of these reviews here are not that pleasant but coming from personal experiences of communicating with staff and teachers and the way they take care of the children is quite fair. I have a 3.5 year old that has been there for a year and seems to enjoy the 5 days she is there. Outside of occasional anxiety separation (which at this age is quite normal) she always comes out of school happy. Teachers and director is always there in case you need to speak, all you have to do is make an appointment or see if they have few minutes to speak. I have communicated normal parental concerns (nutrition, discipline, behaviors, educations, etc) and always received well provided information that met my needs. My daughter has learned a lot in her first year being there and I believe that whatever issues may have been there in past, are no longer present or have been taken care of accordingly. To conclude, I can say that I am a pleased parent coming from first time experiences with a school and staff
I currently have my daughter here and am looking for another day care. My daughter recently told me that a teacher there hit one of the kids in her class and when I asked her later if the teacher was still at the school she told me she was. I also asked her if anyone else had scene and she said everyone did. Now reading desouzas comment I'm further convinced that either they clean up their staff OR CLOSE DOWN.
I have had my son here since 2 years old.
I loved it....He loved it
Never had an issue.
But since the director had a baby, the school seems to have little structure. Not sure why, but basically you speak to her and you feel like she is thinking of something else.
At the beginning she seemed to love her job and the lesson plans, but now I'm not getting the same feeling.
The priest is the only one who oversees the school and I DON'T see him doing enough.
They need a good teacher to take over who is motivated. We need who she was before. IF EVERY WOMEN CHANGED LIKE SHE DID AFTER BIRTH, WOMEN WOULD NOT SUCCEED IN THIS WORLD.
The facility is great large rooms, this was something that attracted me to the school. The classrooms are not congested. Great outside area for playing. Good food fit the kids.
No complaints overall....But the director needs to wake up.
The comments before this one....about hitting / there was a meeting with all parents about a situation. The mother of the child was aware and said she knew her daughter was hard to handle and she would not listen without a firm asserted teacher. This was a unique situation. I'm there some days for 15 minutes in the morning and I never have seen anything out of ordinary. The children are being Fed and watching a movie, in the cafeteria.
Overall very happy
Child currently attends school but am not happy with the teacher. My child has been there since 2 1/2 and is now 4. My child is not happy with the teacher, my child has complained twice about teacher spankinh head but everytime i approach the teacher or director of school she just takes information in and does not take action to resolve situation.
My son started attending this nursery/preeschool when he turned three, the first month he loved it and was really excited to go back everyday. until recently, he now refuses to go back, he doesn't want o get dressed or leave the house in the morning, I ask him why and he says that the teacher spanks him in the head. At first I was shocked when he yold me this I couldn't believe it and I confronted the teacher of course she denied everything but I trust my son. I have also found out from other people that had their kids there years ago that this is not anything new, I have heard that they've put scotch tape in a little boys mouth and that their way of putting the kids in time out is to make them face the wall with their hands up. This behavior is unaccepable and it's a shame that this teacher is giving this reputation to this school and getting away with it. Think twice before you put your child in this school.
