About the Provider
Northwood Presbyterian Child Care Center (NPCCC) was established in 1989 as a private, non-profit organization and is part of the Northwood Presbyterian Church's mission to the community. We offer programs for 2 and 4 year olds as well as before and after school programs for children ages 5 to 11. A full time summer program is offered for children ages 2 to 11. NPCCC is licensed by the Office of Child Care Licensing and Regulation of the Maryland State Department of Human Resources.
A Board of Directors that meets monthly provides oversight of the Center. The Center's Director and Northwood's Pastor are ex-officio members of the Board. The professional staff are employed by the Center and work under the supervision of the Director.
Parents participate in a Parent Advisory Committee providing support to the Director. A member of the Board of Directors serves on this committee.
NPCCC does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the admission of students, the employment of staff, or in the administration of its programs. The Center is committed to maintaining the diversity of its student body.
