Description: The Lutheran Elementary School of Bay Ridge (LES) has been a mainstay of the community since our founding in 1957. LES has a rich heritage, having been founded by one of the most dynamic churches in Brooklyn – Bethlehem Lutheran Church. We offer the highest quality education in a nurturing, yet challenging environment for children in Nursery School through Grade 8. Our staff has an extraordinary breadth of expertise and gets to know each child individually, which is critical in providing a solid education.
L.E.S. of Bay Ridge is a fully accredited school, chartered by the NYS Board of Regents of the NYS Education Department. LES is proud to offer a strong education in all critical areas: English, science, mathematics, social studies, history, geography, civics, technology/computers, religion, music and art.
