Hi! I am a tenant who lives in the building where this daycare located. I was always questioning the safety of outside playground, which is placed right in the backyard under the buildings windows and not protected from anything which could fall from above (for example when tenants set their AC and can drop something by accident it would be dangerous for kids down at the playground). I think about it every time I pass it by, but hopefully child care has all the permissions and everything is in compliance with safety regulations somehow. I started work from home few days a week and what terrifies me is that I hear kids crying non stop for hours and adults just yelling at them. I do understand the fragile age of children here and do realize how difficult it is to find a childcare in NYC. But GOSH - non stop - no calming voices, no pedagogical distraction, just exhausted babies crying half of their days at the weird playground under the fire escape stairs. I urge authorities to check this place in regard of safety regulations and I urge hardworking parents to make sure that their kids are happy there. And also - I would like to be wrong in my suspicions. Best regards. Avrora.
