About the Provider
At The Tiny Tots Playhouse our philosophy is that children learn best through play, social interaction and exploration of imagination. Our students are free to play with a plethora of toys & puzzles that develop fine motor skills, problem solving skills and concept of trial and error. Through various developmentally appropriate activities children learn letter recognition and sound, number recognition, counting, colors, and shapes. Learning Centers provide opportunities for purposeful play in which students can practice skills necessary to meet the Pre-K Foundations for Common Core. Students develop social, emotional, and communication skills through interaction, dramatic play, and class discussions.
We encourage children to explore their interests and facilitate learning by allowing them the freedom to express thoughts, share ideas, and investigate new topics. This is essential in establishing self confidence and easing academic anxieties. Encouraging students to participate and lead in learning promotes excitement and enthusiasm in learning new topics.
