Description: Mother of two daughters, they were an integral reason why I gave up a career outside of the home to follow a path that allowed me to be available to them during their time in elementary and middle school. 13 years later, I still love what I do and could not be happier assisting families in meeting their child care needs. I am Licensed through the state of Kansas and the county of Johnson, I am inspected annually by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, the Olathe Fire Department, and visited 3-4 times per year by the federal Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) sponsor, Day Care Connection. I am Certified in CPR (all ages) and Pediatric First Aid. I Attend continuing education courses, workshops & training relevant to child care, nutrition, education, & professional enhancement. My Home is Smoke-Free, Child-Proofed, and Has a Fenced in Yard. The outdoor play area is stocked with play houses, cozy coupe cars, a basketball hoop, balls, and more. Safety chips underfoot provide footing and soft landings. Indoors I have a separate sleep area for toddlers and infants. The play room is filled with age-appropriate toys, books, blocks, trucks, dolls, etc. The preschool room is filled with learning tools such as, colors, letters, shapes, and numbers posters, age-appropriate educational materials, books, etc. I encourage creative play, hands-on learning experiences, and a family atmosphere.
