About the Provider
When I was pregnant with my first son, finding a daycare that would accomodate my teaching schedule was impossible. I didn't want to take my son to a daycare while I could be home with him, and I didn't want to pay for weeks of care that my child would not receive. I decided that there needed to be a daycare available that would allow parents to spend time at home with their kids without paying for weeks and weeks of unused care! I believe that all children deserve love, attention, and nurturing. I believe that a safe environment allows children to explore and grow. At Little Blessings Daycare, we allow children to have hands-on learning experiences. This fosters age appropriate development. We spend lots of time outside to allow the kids the opportunity to learn more about their world through exploration. We sing, dance, play, color, create art projects and read with the children each day. I believe that positive reinforcement is important for children to develop self-esteem. I work with the children to teach them self-responsibility. Children need an environment that supports free expression and stimulates learning. Most importantly, however, I believe that children need to have fun! Children learn best from experiencing the world around them, and here at Little Blessings we let them EXPLORE! We recognize the importance of work, and the stress and demands placed on parents. We strive to make it easier on parents by giving them the knowledge that their children are in good hands. We encourage visits and phone calls from parents at any time. We are happy to send email photos and updates when possible.
