All the infants in space 1 were observed being put in cribs for napping. One child cried for seven (7) minutes and the teacher stated "you are going to have to learn". Another child cried intermittently and was told "you can't get up". He was taken out of his crib after nine (9) minutes. A third child was observed sitting up and banging on his crib and was told by the teacher "quit banging" and "you got to lay down". The teacher was also heard saying "it is naptime why are you fighting it". This child was in his crib for ten (10) minutes. The final child was taken out of her crib after twelve (12) minutes of crying intermittently. A child was told that he had fifteen more minutes before he could get his bottle. | |||
