Description: Woodmont Child Development Center (WCDC) is housed within Woodmont United Methodist Church and has been in operation since June 1, 1990. Each time the center has been assessed by the North Carolina Division of Child Development and Early Education, it has received a 4-star rating, one of the highest ratings available from the Commission. Ratings are based upon two areas of assessment: (1) Program Standards, and (2) Staff Education. An additional quality point is awarded on the basis of enhanced standards in programming and staff education. The entire staff is certified in First Aid, CPR, SIDS, and Conscious Discipline. In order to receive a 5-star rating, the highest available, WCDC would need to reduce its staff/child ratio.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
