Findings: Health & Safety Concern. There were concerns regarding a child coming home with bite marks on face and arms. At time of investigation, it was verified that a child had been bitten on a couple occasions. Resolution: At time of follow up, the provided had unenroll the biting child for safety of staff and other children. A Child Care Consultant also discussed the center's policy on individualizing behavioral plans according to the need of the child and ways to communicate these concerns to parents as well as provided resources on additional strategies to intervene when these types of behaviors occur.
