Description: The Carolyn Stokes Day Nursery is committed to an educational program for preschool children ages 2 « to 5 based on fundamental principles of early childhood development. We believe that every child normally progresses through the same sequential stages in his or her emotional, social, physical and intellectual development; however, the rate of maturation through these stages is unique to the individual child. In the structure and implementation of our program we respect the uniqueness and individuality of each child, and we recognize the importance of providing learning experiences which nurture and promote growth in all areas of the young child's development.
