Description: The Buddy Bin, Inc is an hourly childcare center. We have an awesome center in North Salt Lake! We provide care for children ages 6 weeks through 10 years old for as little as one hour up to all day long. The difference between the Buddy Bin and other daycares is that you pay only for the time your child is at our facility. We have separate play areas for infants, toddlers, 2-5 year olds and 6-10 year olds - each area has age appropriate toys so there is something for everyone to enjoy. The Buddy Bin, Inc offers date nights every Friday and Saturday from 5-11pm - we reduce our prices and have activities, snacks and fun that follows a different theme each week. Parents can enjoy a night out without the worry.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

Just wanted to share our recent experience using the Buddy Bin to care for our 11-month-old daughter. I have only gone twice, but on our second visit (Tuesday of this week, from 11-1:30 pm) when I picked her up they told me that my daughter had been "an escape artist." They cheerfully told me she had been swaddled and strapped into a swing, but still managed to struggle loose. It was right as I was picking her up, and at first I didn't say anything. However, after leaving, I checked her activity sheet, which claimed that she had napped from 12-1:15 pm. My daughter rarely naps for that long, and never at that time of day -- and I had told them she would not need a nap when I dropped her off. So I called back to ask why she had been swaddled in the first place. I was put on hold, and then someone got on the phone and said she hadn't been swaddled, she was just wrapped in a blanket for a nap. I reiterated that I ,had dropped her off saying she would not need a nap. She apologized, and said she had only been down for 5 minutes. I asked why her sheet said she'd been napping for an hour and 15 minutes. She then simply offered to refund me my money for the day, as if that solved the problem. I called them back asking to see the videotape. I was told, per their policy, that it can only be reviewed with the Director, and that she was gone for the day. She was supposed to call today. When she finally got in touch with me late this morning, I was told that their cameras have not been working for 6 weeks. Personally, we will never use them again -- I am sure that the first story, the fact that she had been swaddled and strapped down, is the true one, and I do not want my child to be treated that way. She was only in their care for 2 1/2 hours, and she likely spent half of that time in a situation she should not have been in -- however, their lack of film footage (or their refusal to show it to us) means that we will never know what actually happened.
