| Initial Comments: There were no deficiencies observed at the Initial inspection conducted on 05-05-2026, and subject to change pending programmatic review. A copy of the Notice of Inspection Rights was provided during the inspection. BCCL staff emailed the Empower Self-Evaluation Assessment link to the Provider. 2 of 2 fingerprint clearance cards were verified as valid via the DPS website during the inspection. The following was discussed, but not limited to: 1. Children’s sign-in and out records. 2. Children's Emergency Information and Immunization records and telephone authorization code. 3. Staff attendance records. 4. Accessible drinking water. 5. Monthly fire drills. 6. Classroom rosters. 7. Notification of pesticides. 8. Child abuse and neglect- mandated reporter. 9. Written approval for personal products supplied by the facility. 10. Children with special needs and in the individualized plan. 11. Discipline and guidance procedures. 12 Written accident, evacuation, and emergency plans. 13. Notifying parents and documenting injuries. 14. Illness and infestation log. 15. Medication procedures. 16. Transportation and field trip procedures. 17. Notify the Department of closures for any days. 18. Interviewing staff and children during investigations. | |||
