Children are required to walk through the kitchen to use the bathroom. There were no knob covers on the stove, which is accessible while walking through. Correction Required: Hot water pipes and other sources of heat exceeding 110° F that are accessible to children shall be equipped with protective guards or shall be insulated to prevent direct contact. |

The hot water supply to the bathroom sink was turned off so that hot water exceeding 110F is no longer accessible to children. Protective stove knob covers and an oven/stove guard were installed to prevent children from accessing the stove while walking though the kitchen to the bathroom. These safety measures will be maintained at all times children are in care. |
