Description: All People’s Life Center opened in 2007 and is known as one of the County’s showcase facilities, and it is home base for the Therapeutics program. This facility was designed to serve people of all ages and abilities, but specializes in serving people with disabilities.
Every detail of the building exceeds ADA standards for accessibility, eliminating all barriers to participation for people with disabilities. Some rooms are available for rent. For more information contact 813-744-5978.
Throughout the year, the Therapeutic Recreation section offers a variety of activities including sport clinics, dances, Teen Night Out, special holiday activities, community events, and special interest classes. The All People's Life Center is host to many athletic competitions such as Quad Rugby, Power Wheelchair Soccer, and Wheelchair Basketball Tournaments. All Peoples Staff/coaches are wonderful in working with children with disabilities. My grandson was kicked out of all other programs, however All Peoples saved this single mother of 3 by accepting my grandson, and the coaches became great mentors to this 9 to 11-year old boy with special needs.
