Description: Thoreau AFTER SCHOOL meets in the gym where children have many activities to choose from. Part of the gym is used for active games as well. Special activities offered include an art and crafts area, games, areas and a quiet space for reading and homework.. Thoreau AFTER SCHOOL is able to use playground equipment at the neighboring city park and the grassy area for sports. Thoreau AFTER SCHOOL is a choice-based program.
