Owner is rude
Teachers look very young and inexperienced, DHS subsidy parents do feel the tension that the center isn’t making as much money off you as they do private pay parents, so you aren’t a loss if you leave. Daycare doesn’t smell clean and I could go on. The owner may put up a front of being the kindest person, but because of that center, I will only use in home DHS licensed daycare centers.
I love the owner, Holly, she was great with my kids! My kids were never mistreated and since then we've moved far away and my kids are yet to be as happy in another daycare as they were at Lovebugz. They are very family oriented and caring. On one occasion my son was sick and I had to leave work to come get him but in the mean time they had him in another quiet room on a cot with a pillow and a blanket since he wasn't feeling well. If your looking for a genuine, loving, safe and fun place for your kids to be when they can't be with you this is the place! I wish more places could be like this one!
I am very pleased with the new owner, Holly. She is constantly working with the kids and helping the teachers when she can. Also, she has made dramatic changes to the daycare. I feel I am putting my children in great hands at this daycare. As to "angry," its not like she was the one who put the child in foster care, her grandparents did. this daycare has made a turn for the best and I appreciate the time and effort this women puts into her business. Don't remember seeing the old owner hardly at all. Running a new business is hard and I see her almost every single day. Very thankful for such a well priced childcare!
I have had nothing but a great experience with this daycare and the new owner, Holly. I have really liked the changes I have seen and I do not feel that she is a fake person. I have a rather difficult infant to take care of, due to reflux and sometimes refuses bottles, and they have done nothing but try their hardest to take the best care of her that they can. I have more then once seen Holly personally helping care for my children to ensure that they are getting plenty of care. Any "parent" or "grandparent" that would put a child in foster care because someone else tells them their child is "awful" and cannot make that judgment for themselves and whether or not they can handle such a child at home, CLEARLY was not fit to raise a child. I also personally know someone who sends their children there, and they have several behavioral issues and everyone there has been nothing but helpful and patient and worked with them. Selfish is far from something I would call Holly. There is not much money to make in owning a daycare, someone would have to have a passion for being in that business and enjoy it. She is also investing a lot of time, effort and money into fixing and cleaning the place up. That, to me, does not sound like someone who would or would be ok with children being mistreated.
The owner Holly Turvey is very unprofessional, very rude, and is extremely fake. She will be very nice to your face and be horrible to your children. She doesn't value her employees. She screamed at little girl in the four year old room who was living with her grandparents and called them to tell them how "awful" their granddaughter was, this lead to them putting her in foster care. She is a very selfish person. DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE. I hope DHS will shut her down.
She will put over children in room that is not DHS approved. These children aren't being cared for or get the attention they need.
