My oldest attended Precious Child Academy 2 yrs ago and LOVED it! The staff and teachers were awesome. There was not one day that my daughter didnt want to go to school, infact, she'd cry on weekends because she loved it so much! Now my youngest has the opportunity to go there for PreK and she's really excited :)

The last fire inspection the facility passed was conducted on 6/7/23. You had an inspection on 5/31/24 and 6/3/24 but have not passed the inspection.

One child's prescribed medication, in Space 1B, for asthma was not identifiable, it was not in the original container, , did not have a pharmacy label and did not have the child's name.

Leftover medicines were not returned to the parent after the course of treatment was completed, after authorization was withdrawn or after authorization had expired and/or medication was not discarded within 72 hours of completion of treatment or withdrawal of authorization. I observed diaper creams observed locked in cabinets, the staff stated they belonged to children and staff that no longer enrolled or employed at the center and it had been more than 72 hours.

One child enrolled with asthma medication and device to administer the medication on site did not have a medical action plan regarding his asthma condition.

The medical action plan was not updated on an annual basis or when changes to the plan were made by the child's parent or health care professional. One child has a medical action plan on premise regarding a milk allergy, but his medication is not on premise. It was reported the parent keeps the medication at home and she provides a milk substitute and the medical action plan is no longer valid, but there is nothing in writing indicating that change.

I observed peeling paint on the handrails leading from the preschool playground to the building and the wood trim around the entrance way of the building from the preschool playground was observed to be rotting at the base and wood was splintering.

The sandbox on the preschool playground is torn and weathered and no longer provides a secure cover when not in use.
