I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Communication is nonexistent, raises their rates every year to "help pay their staff so they don't leave" but then posts jobs for 14/hour and wonders why they can't get anyone. They say they care about families but their actions show they clearly don't. Money hungry is all its about. Go somewhere else.

About the Provider

EMERGENT CURRICULUM Fostering a curiosity and love of discovery within each child is the goal behind our curriculum approach. We aim to grow that natural wonder that each child brings to the world by utilizing an emergent curriculum. This model of education is a child-directed and teacher-facilitated approach to planning the curriculum. This method of planning is based on the children¿s interests and passions. Through many years of scientific study, many prominent educators in the field of early education have established that young children learn best through play and that they learn best when the curriculum has meaning and relevance to their lives. This learning occurs naturally through children¿s everyday play and interactions with their environments. Staff help facilitate children¿s learning through trial and error, experimentation, open-ended invitations to play, self-discovery, social interactions, and access to manipulatives/loose parts. Planning emergent curriculum requires observation, documentation, creative brainstorming, flexibility, and patience on the part of the early childhood educator. We aim to provide children with the tools they need to begin building their base of knowledge of how the world works around them by providing enriching experiences that enhance their physical and social-emotional growth. With this model of education, the teachers plan curriculum that is responsive to children¿s interests and create meaningful learning experiences. Screen time in the classroom is prohibited with the exception of videos that enhance the lesson and/or books online that cannot be taught without the use of a screen. All requests to utilize screen time as a teaching tool must be approved by the curriculum coordinator in advance. Screen time will be no longer than 15 minutes, with the exception of an infrequent, developmentally appropriate movie used for entertainment. We will request parent/guardian approval prior to screen time used for this purpose. Children who are under age two will not have any screen time.
