They are fully aware of a child CURRENTLY bullying one of my children. An when I called them about it ALL THEY HAD TO SAY WAS THEY TRY TO KEEP THEM SEPARATE. What the actual f*** is that?!?!?! I ALSO HAVE RECORDING OF AN EMPLOYEE ADMITTING THEY ARE AWARE
They absolutely run a tight ship. They’ve help to raise my 4 babies and with no issues. I love the employees and owners. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Excellent staff, and facility.
No stars isn't an option sadly, this place is awful. My child came home with scratches all over his face and said someone at daycare did it, and no one came out to explain what had happened. Do not suggest.

| Non Compliance Code: Angie Herald, an employee at the center, uses a tone of voice that has been described as screaming at children. According to Ms. Bowling, Ms. Hearal does have a sharp, shrill voice, however she doesn't scream at the chidren; however she did say that she uses the tone to get control of the group because they are the after school group. Ms. Herald should use structure and other ways to gain control. Using a loud tone is not acceptable as a method of control and is not condusive to child learning or behavior. | |||

| Non Compliance Code: Section 111- Regulation 8 c. states that children shall take a drink of water whenever they feel the need. The Kid Connection has been prohibiting children from coming off the playground during the play period to get a drink of water and has been discouraging or prohibiting children from unsing the bathroom during this time also. This practice is outrageous and unacceptable to the care of children. | |||

| Non Compliance Code: Section III-Regulation 2 g, page 26 states that removal from the group as a means of helping a child gain control shall be for reasonable periods of time. When possible, children should help set time limits. Kid Connection has been using a red table as the time out place. The table is too high for some children to get on and off of without the assistance of the staff therefore the time of the punishment could easily become too long. | |||

| Non Compliance Code: The concern is that children are being encouraged to bite and hit children who do the same to them. This practice is expressly prohibited. According to Ms. Bowling, Heather Shrewsberry bit her child as a result of the child biting her. She stated that she took the child to a private area and the other children were not aware of the incident. This practice is not permitted. I would like to remind you and your staff that all children in the center are to be treated according to policy and regulations. The relationship of an employee to a child, such as mother ect, doesn't give them the right to make or carry out discipline proceedures that are in violation of standards. It is my opinion that Ms. Shrewsberry should be evaluated as to her suitability to care for children. | |||
