I have used this provider for more than 6 months

The Pro's:
- Less expensive than other daycares in the area
- The teaching staff are AMAZING (Our fav was Ms Brittany, and they are the only reason this place got 2 stars instead of 1)
- Butterfly Garden
- Several playgrounds
- Auto-draft available for payment, card and cash also an option
- One week of vacation (suspended payment for that week, must be notified in advance)
- They provide food

The Con's:
- Cameras cover only the hall ways, parents do not have access to the footage
- The director will constantly send kids home (understandable for fevers, but my kid got sent home for sneezing, for being fussy, etc)
- They will inconsistently ask for a doctor's note to return to school. They will not notify you if you'll be needing one to return, until you arrive the next day and attempt to drop off.
- If you have a known issue and a doctor's note, they will still send your kid home, and then ask for additional documentation- when the kid is on the prescribed treatment, and that treatment is working as expected. (So then why are we returning to the doctor again?)
- You will still be charged for the week if they have to shut down for COVID.
-They do not follow the recommended protocol for the prevention of COVID, per the CDC, as they do not have certain classes wearing masks (the 2-3 year old class)
-There is no one there to monitor the check-in or out process (done on an iPad) or observe who comes in or out of an unlocked gate. There used to be a woman greeting each child and getting them to their classrooms in the morning, but it seems she has either left or been let go- leaving a large security gap.
- Starting age is 1 year +

Initially, this daycare was wonderful. I had enrolled our 18 month old there when she was about 14 months old, and had such a good experience, I transferred my 5 year old there for the summer prior to kindergarten. Once school started, it seemed the atmosphere changed. My child was sent home so many times, I faced disciplinary action at work. Isn't the point of daycare, especially given the cost, to allow parents to work?
Furthermore, the director Deborah can be down right condescending. I work as a nurse and she had the gall to question my assessment skills, and recite (incorrectly) CDC guidelines. She went so far as to recommend medication changes that I should ask the doctor for- which my child had either already tried or was too young to receive. I obtained the doctor's note explaining the health issues my child had (which are easily managed with competent oversight) and that was still not enough to keep her from being sent home, while otherwise perfectly healthy and acting normally. I attempted to explain my frustrations to both her and her assistant director. Nothing was done to correct the situation.

The only reason I could recommend this place is if your child never shows any signs of allergy (seasonal or otherwise), never shows any sign of illness, and if you as a parent are okay being talked-down to.
