Firefly Early Learning Center

The word "daycare" doesn't adequately describe what Firefly Preschool is to us and to our four year old son as it is so much more. We chose Firefly Preschool on the recommendation of a friend that had seen the way the school was run and was thoroughly impressed and passed on the information knowing we were in search of childcare. I'm thankful everyday for that recommendation!

This is a place that not only is my son anxious to go everyday but that enables me as a working parent to know that I'm doing right by my child with all that he is learning and experiencing on a daily basis. There is no better feeling in the world then to drop off a happy child anxious to go and pick up one that is energized and excited about the day they have had.There is so much time invested in each child from the pictures and videos that are sent to me making my day at work, to the arts and crafts projects, daily log of activities, weekly menu, and so much more.

I honestly don't know how Ms. Sherry does it all and I continue to be impressed by the attention to detail that is put into everything concerning my child at every stage. They are so wonderful with the children and the personal connection they have with the kids not only shows the pride they take in their work, but also conveys they love they have for them. Firefly Preschool is truly something special and I feel very fortunate to have my son in such a positive and wonderful environment!

We're a new family that moved from another state and could not be any more excited about finding the Firefly preschool. Our daughter has been going to the vine for three months now and she is excited about school everyday. She talks about her friends and teachers daily. We were looking for a center that was close to our home and safe for our little girl. We found the Firefly preschool to be the perfect fit.

Ms. Sherry and her teachers are great with the kiddies. You can tell they are all passionate about their jobs and also made us feel welcomed the day we stepped in the door. Both my husband and I are grateful and thankful to find such a wonderful daycare. I would highly recommend Firefly preschool to anyone looking for quality child care.

Absolutely best place for my child! Sherry is so involved and is constantly keeping my child active and learning. She sometimes even bakes muffins and banana bread in the morning before anyone arrives. They practice reading, arts and crafts, and science experiments. I am so happy and confident in leaving my child at Firefly Early Learning center while I am at work. Thank you Firefly and Sherry for all that you do!

Sherry is the absolute worst person to work for you secretly will talk badly about your kids to her employees. She is abusive and absolutely only about the money and not about your child’s care. 900+ for an awful daycare/ preschool. I do not recommend brining your kids here and I do not recommend working for Sherry peterson. Worst experience of my life.

I started with Firefly Early Learning Center in November of 2018. She had just opened and I was lucky enough to find her before she filled up. My child had been at a larger facility and we decided that a smaller facility with more focus on the whole child would work better. When we walked in for a tour, I realized that we had hit the jackpot. As we walked through, I was thinking this was going to be super expensive because it's a beautiful facility, her background in education is amazing, she was excited about kids, and she is probably one of the nicest people I've ever met. Whatever the cost, we definitely were going to make the switch. I knew right away that my child would flourish here. To our surprise, her prices were not crazy and I really felt like it might be too good to be true. However, we've now been there for nine months and it's definitely been the best move for our child. It's not only as good as I thought, it's better. My child loves going there, he's learning amazing things, and he loves all the kids. He absolutely adores the owner and the other employees that work there. She has a way with filling her center with employees that care about the kids. Thank you to Firefly Early Learning Center, our little one wouldn't be where he is without the wonderful guidance you've provided.
