Our Staff - Director Lori Gelfand is an early childhood education specialist with more than thirty years experience in the field. She is assisted by Manager Michael Gelfand and a team of experienced teachers and assistants who nurture and encourage each child's eagerness for learning. The Plaza Child Care staff creates a warm, supportive atmosphere that fosters friendships, growth, and love of learning.
Our Facility - We pride ourselves on having superb teacher-student ratios and attractive modern facilities which contribute to Plaza Child Care's comfortable, safe environment. Bright, colorfully decorated classrooms feature art corners, creative play areas, and other specialized sections. We have a developmentally appropriate indoor gym and outdoor play equipment with two separate play grounds, one for infants and toddlers and the other for pre-schoolers and kindergartners. We have video surveillance in every room. In addition, we have gone "Green" and have a non-toxic environment.
Emergency Services - Our on-call pediatrician, Suresh Patel, MD, has offices adjacent to Plaza Child Care. Talbot Sklar, DDS, FAAP, is our on-call dentist. His practice is located in the Plaza. These medical professionals are available to provide emergency care until your child's own physician or dentist can be reached.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

This is in 2012, this particular teacher was so negligent and not very caring. My son had 2 times bitten and abused. The teacher simply writes notes about what has happened, but was not proactive in preventing it. They are smart in covering their face. I do notice she is late to the class and often not present inside the class.
Mostly the kids were playing same puzzle on and on and very easily get into fight., We never know whats happening after we leave our kids there. Whatever they write or make it up thats it. There is no recorded monitoring system or anything and they don't want to install them too.
Once we tried to explain to the director, she never let us talk, just keep on lecturing and make us feel stupid and she will start talking pride about her success etc.
We very much regret and feel bad for sending our Son so long without realizing these negligent activities.Many of our friends experienced the same and discontinued from there and recommended us to stop sending our kid.
