I have used this provider for more than 6 months

This is a School that discriminates and has an unloving atmosphere and the director that greets you every day has the most horrible dreadful look on her face. The teachers are absolutely lazy and they want nothing to do with helping your child with potty training as well you're stuck in a room for 5 hours with no exercise. It's terribly boring and no fun and they won't even let you dress up in a costume for Halloween at school .You are sent home if you come with a costume on. As well they'll call you at any moment to send your child home and have them picked up for any reason that they cannot handle. The teachers are extremely blah with no personality and they don't want to deal with any high energy or any children with personality that talks or ask questions.
We work with the hospital in the neighborhood and this is supposed to be a School catered to parents who work in the hospital. So that is the only reason why we decided to try the school. I am extremely happy we are out of that environment and we have found a dozen other schools in the neighborhood that are 10 times better. I am surprised the school is still being run by those Same people .
As well when we were leaving I made it very public and over 22 parents came to me past and present of the school and told me about they're horrible nightmare being there with discrimination of there child. Do yourself a favor and find a school that lets your child be A child and celebrate This very special time At age 2,3 and 4.......

About the Provider

In every school, but particularly in an early childhood program, the basic philosophy is the inspiration for and foundation of, the specific curriculum. The educational goal of The William Woodward Jr. Nursery School is to provide a setting in which children are nurtured in all areas of development - social, emotional, intellectual and physical.

Children are active learners and learn from their experiences. From the moment of birth, they are experiencing and discovering the world through their senses. In cheerful, child centered classrooms, children are encouraged to learn by exploring, trying, and doing. Teachers trained in early childhood education act as facilitators, guiding children to learn through play. At Woodward, we help prepare children both for the academics and for life, by fostering in them a healthy ego and sense of self, an inner discipline, respect, and empathy for others, gradually increasing independence, and an awareness that they are an important part of the community.

Our school community is national and international and we work together to understand and appreciate our unique differences. The staff is skilled in developing communication between native English-speaking children, and children whose primary language is other than English. The diversity of families at Woodward enriches us all.
