Livingway Christian Church Inc. dba Live Oak Learning Center

At 4:30 PM on Tuesday September 17,2019 I went to pick up my daughter from Live Oak Learning Center. Upon arrival I notice that my child has a gash under her right eye. The cut is about 1’ away from her eyeball. The teacher of my child Brittney told me that she was fighting with another child and the child scratched my daughter. Brittney claimed she was at the changing table with another child therefore she was unable to stop the incident. My child’s father was in the car waiting for us to return. We went back to the car I showed him the scratch on our daughter and we proceeded to go back into the facility where the incident took place. The director of the facility Corchelle Mabury was not there at the time so we spoke with the assistant director Erica. Erica was very disrespectful when we requested we get her paperwork and shot records. She started to raise her voice and told us we needed to leave. After our daughters father made another request for the paperwork the directors son Ashaad Mabury was sitting in the directors office. He got in our child’s fathers face and proceeded to call him a ***** and a ***** After that he forcefully pushed the father and I escorted him out so there would be no retaliation. After this incident several police officers swarmed the center. We spoke with the officers and resolved the issue on our end. I do not recommend parents bring their children to this daycare as there is a lack of attention when it comes to watching these children. I have had problems in the past with the directors and Brittney. This was the last straw for this company. I will never recommend anything to this daycare
