I have used this provider for more than 6 months

My son went here for a little over a year and here are some of the concerns I had:

1) Almost everyday I picked up my child there was only one teacher in the room with several kids and they are ALWAYS texting, FaceTiming, or talking on the phone. There were several occasions where I picked up my son and walked out the door with him without the teacher ever looking up from her phone to see that I had left with him.

2) There were several times during pick up/drop off that I would hear the teachers screaming at the kids. Over the year I heard things like “Why are you like this?!” “Why don’t you listen to me!” And just a few weeks ago I walked in to the owner yelling “I can’t stand you two!”.

3) There is a lock on the front door where you have to type in a pin # to enter the building. They are automatic sliding doors. When leaving the building you just walk up and they open automatically. It is super easy for a child to walk up to the door, have it automatically open, and for the child to wonder outside.

4) There was a time when I picked up my son and he had a big red bite mark on his arm. The teacher didn’t say anything about it so I went back into the daycare to ask about it. They said another kid bite him but they forgot to write an accident report. It was never mentioned to me.

Anytime a family member would pick up my son for me they had the same observations. Just some things to consider.
