KIDS CAN BE KIDS PRESCHOOL 2

My wife and I visited to evaluate the facility for our 2 year old daughter. These are our impressions only -- you should visit to form your own. Maybe we hit the place on a bad day.

The director seemed more interested in attending to her desk work than coming out of her office to answer any questions about the program. Those she did were answered curtly -- we left feeling like we were taking up her time.

The facility seemed  more like a holding area for kids than a childcare or learning facility. The layout of the buiding was not open or inviting; just a row of stuffy rooms off a hallway to separate the children into different groups. That might be ok, except that we also did not get the feeling that this is the sort of facility that encourages children to want to learn, interact, express themselves, think creatively, or develop social skills.

There seemed to be a large emphasis on watching movies; apparently they watch one every day before their nap time, which runs on a later schedule from 1 to 3. Make no mistake: there is no developmental value in showing movies to young childtren -- they are there to make life easier for staff.

After reviewing 4 other facilities on that day, this one fell to the bottom of the list.

VERY VERY VERY POOR! DO NOT take your children here. They carry children by the arms here, throw rocks at them. They yell at the kids, all the time, they make them do things like " sing and dance" to preform infront of their parents and threten to put them in the "baby room" if they don't act like they are happy. The owner CHRIS is a poor excuse for a director, and this place needs to be shut down! The employees are a mess, they leave the childrens diapers full all day, never change them giving them severe diaper rash, to where it bleeds. When you take a tour of this place they seem nice, but when you leave they torture your children. Beware! Ive seen all of this with my own eyes. I give this place 0 stars!
