| Findings: Supervision and Health & Safety Concerns. There were concerns that a child had a yeast infection due to improper diapering practices. The health department performed an investigation and determined that one staff member did not have a background check and another staff member had an expired background check. Additionally, cleaning and sanitizing was not being performed properly during diaper changes leading to the spread of a yeast infection between two children. Resolution: Staff were sent home to obtain background checks and all staff were re-trained on diapering practices. Provider is working with IdahoSTARS on diaper changing procedures and sanitation. | |||
