If there was zeros stars i would have rated this facility that. They moved to 271 bartholdi ave in jersey city. This facility does not provide food past 2:00pm snack (lunch is at 11:30) which is 3 crackers or 4 raisins and a shot glass of milk when kids are there until 6pm. When asked if i can accommodate a separate snack for a little later time i was told no that if my son ate i had to feed the whole classroom. They are unsanitary my son got pink eye 3 times in the same month. He would come home with diaper rashes when i asked them to put desitin on him (which we all know as parents it never comes off the baby bottom, leaves a white residue) he never came home with any desitin and his diaper rash was always worst. His after 2pm teacher has a son in the center and they would allow her to watch her own son showing favoritism to her own child leaving ours the fend for themselves. i would go and pick up my son and they would allow him to be chewing on markers and simply say mom its ok they are non-toxic. My son was there for 4 months and he was bite, hit, and scratched every single day due to lack of supervision. There are 2 teachers in the classroom for 19 kids (2yrs old) when state mandates 1 to 6 ratio. that center is never in ratio. My sons behavior was horrible due to lack of discipline. They allow the kids to just roam around all day and there is no schedule. Nap is supposed to be 2hrs they allow them to sleep for over that, just not to deal with them. If i needed a babysitter i would have hired one. If you have your child here i would recommend taking them out and running. My son now attends a daycare where he comes home singing and well behaved. He shows me all the things he does in school, his behavior is totally different now. I can totally see the difference and how damaging Starting Points was for my toddler. I hope no one makes the same msitake i did.
