At first I thought things were great, then some red flags started coming up. My son developed severe diaper rash from not being changed in a timely manner. I would overhear the teacher yelling at the kids from outside the door. The school did an assessment indicating my child is severely delayed. I knew this wasn't true. I was told he had to have a screening by the state or withdraw immediately. I complied and the state worker said my child was 100% normal and healthy. She suggested reporting the school's conduct to the Early Learning Coalition. I didn't do that and returned to the school. I was just informed our spot was not held while we went on a long vacation. The director told me the spot would be held and never asked for a deposit or indicated he may not be able to return as discussed multiple times. How can you "elect not to pay a deposit you were never asked for it billed for?"This kind of unprofessional behavior makes it impossible to ever go back there.

The Pauline Rivkind Early Childhood Education Center, first founded in 1958, is dedicated to providing an outstanding childhood program which emphasizes a nurturing and value-rich environment in a caring, developmentally appropriate, and stimulating way. Partnering with our families, our goal is to provide our students with a strong academic and social foundation that encourages a life-long love of learning.
