My son attends the YMCA CCC, and loves going there. He has learned so much from all of his teachers. You can tell who really cares about the children. Quite a few of those teachers go above and beyond for those kids. I don't know how they do it. Also, I read a review that was left 5 years ago, but it was based on Y Watch, not the CCC. I hope people reading this don't think poorly of the Child Care Center. Those ladies work very hard and are definitely teachers, not babysitters.
I have been going to this Ymca for 9 years and I am very pleased by the girls who work here. They do their best to keep track of the children despite how many can be in there during crazy times! Do not expect one on one attention for your child because that's impossible, but they do their best and I appreciate it.
Poor service!!!! they have so many young ladies working there but they do not do their job as a babysitter! I dropped my daughter who is 8 months old and son who is 5 years old on occation there so i can work out assuming my kids will be well watched. Boy am I wrong, every time i come back to pick up my kids my daughter is sitting on the floor all by herself with no one supervising her. The first few times I just brush it off, the last two times got the wrost of me and drove me to cancel my membership with them. The 2nd to the last when i came to get my kids my 5 years old son told me my daughter fell and hurt herself a few times. When i went to get them no one was watching her either she was holding some stuff and was standing alone! She's at the age where she very curious and wants to grab on to anything she can and pull herself up and try to walk, she needs to be supervised at all time incase she falls. The last time, same thing happened,i walked in and my daugter was all by herself holding a table trying to walk and there were about 5 or 6 so call babysitter in the room who were just chitchatting in the front! i quickly gave them my card and ran to get my daughter!! I'm so pissed, I thought i can rely on these girls to watch my kids while i work out but it turned out i can't!!! Having my daughter there is no different then having my 5 years watch her at home alone!
