This daycare decided to terminate us immediately because I told one new teacher she needed to do better with my son since she was lacking on helping him.. they told me I couldn't tell the teacher what to do. They would neglect my child and not report any injuries he had. My other child had a hand print bruise on her arm and they did not tell me, they lied and said another child bit her through her sweatshirt. They have taken my child blankets and stuffed animals at naptime because they wanted to lay nicely. The staff are very disrespectful and ignore the parents concerns. They will ignore you when you are in the facility. Periodically they would take my child's lunch from him at lunch time and not allow him to eat. They would lose my children's personal items and give them away to other children. They would use my children's wipes / sunscreen on other children. Please stay away from this daycare.
Do not send your under 2 year old to this center. They are unloving and just let the kids cry. Lay on them while they cry to get them to sleep at nap time. They insist the 1 year olds sleep on schedule instead of on their own. They socialize with each other more than the kids. They serve crazy unhealthy food and refuse seconds. All that being said the problem is with the owner and director and some of the staff. The 2 year old is absolutely amazing she has truly found her calling and most of the 3 and up teachers are good as well.
While some of the staff seems to actually care about the kids there, they have some others there who are horrible. I was asked if they could duct tape my 23 month old shoes to her feet because she takes them off. She would come home with her diaper on so tight the tabs were crossed. She became ill with fever and was crying and screaming. We were told they tried everything to console her, but when we got there to pick her up she was laying in a corner crying. She ended up having a terrible ear infection. Not pleased with this facilities afternoon staff as this seems to be the problem area.
Well, I think the person that rated this center 1 star must've been at the wrong place! This Center is AMAZING! They are like family to us! My Son loves them and has been there since my first day back to work. I also experience trouble with getting him up in the mornings and as soon as I mentioned seeing "insert teachers names" he would jump out of bed and be ready to move! They have been so accommodating. They have also been great with the kids, I have never had a single complaint and we have been there almost 3 years now! We are moving out of the area now and we are very sad to be leaving out daycare family. I can't think of a single bad thing to say about this center. I highly recommend them!
I recently moved out of the Lacrosse area. I had my child enrolled in Education Station. I loved this daycare. Most mornings the only way to get my child ready was to tell her she was going to daycare and that she was going to see her friends at education station. I am currently looking for a new daycare for my child and its so hard to because I am always comparing the daycares where I am now located to education station. I think it was harder for me to have my child leave the daycare then my own child. I NEVER once felt like my child was not in good hands, I would drop my child off and I would feel good that I was leaving my child in hands of Education Station. I know I am going to miss this daycare and so will my child. I hardly had the opportunity to pick my child up from daycare but I know the few times I did she never wanted to leave. :).
very uncaring center, staaf very short with children dont interact, my child was not happy and I could see alot of talking among staff and not giving attention to children, food very unhealthy, director not very caring either!I do not reccommend at all!
The workers at Education Station are caring and loving and genuinally concerned for my childs care. They are engaging and creative.
My son loves going to Education Station. We transfered there after going to Red Balloon Too. My son would cry the whole way to there when he knew he had to go. He loves going to Education Station and I often have to drag him away from activities in the afternoon because he doesn't want to leave. :) as a mother that is a very comforting feeling. I don't feel bad leaving him at Education Station because I know he is safe and cared for. Plus he is also happy. :)
