I am the new director and have been for a few years. We strive to provide a safe loving environment to our children. I can not undo what was done in the past but we can make things great in the future. We are lead by God and he has blessed us so much in the past few years. If you are willing to give us a chance you will not regret it.

Too bad that 0 stars is not a option. Used to be great, new management has run it to the ground.
I don't know what has happened, but this place used to be pretty good. After this day care recently merged with another daycare facility and hired a new director, it then went into the toilet.

BEFORE the merger we never had any real problems, people did their jobs and our child was happy and not on the verge of a breakdown every afternoon. Recently our child had been coming home all stressed out, he had been regressing in his potty training, we had him trained, and they didn't do what they said they would so we've taken several steps back in that department. On top of that I HIGHLY suspect that they were punishing him for having a "accident" simply because he would come home and be afraid of the toilet and do everything possible to avoid having a bowel movement. Also our child used to interact with the staff, lead class prayers and was generally engaged in what was happening. After the merger, our child has taken a TOTAL 180 in his behavior when he is there. He doesn't engage with them, he doesn't talk to them and he doesn't listen to them. (and after experiencing  the attitudes of some of the staff, I don't blame him) After this started the director had the audacity to blame us for the behaviors that were obviously the result of the actions of their teachers!!!!! While on the topic of the new director. She's like speaking to a brick wall, she wants to control the conversation, thinks she knows what's best for YOUR child and expects you to come up with solutions for their perceived problems when she's not giving you all the information you need to make a informed decision. Lastly she is one of the coldest and most condescending people I have met in a long who lacks a professional attitude. She's more concerned in doing what easy than what's right.

Just to give you a idea how bad it can be, we took our son to another school to see how they do things, and when he had to leave and thought he was returning to Temple, we had to pick him up and remove him because he clear he was not going to leave on his own since he thought he was going back.

Something is wrong there, very very wrong. It may be cheaper then others but you will get what you pay for.

About the Provider

Temple Child Care opened September 2000 as a ministry of Temple Baptist Church. This weekday ministry operates in a completely new facility and provides quality care for children from infants six weeks old through 4 year old kindergarten.

The hours are from 6:30am until 5:30pm five days a week. We are grateful for a great staff to teach and care for these little ones. This also provides an opportunity to minister not only to the children, but to the parents as well. With all the attacks being launched against the family unit, we are blessed to have a ministry of this magnitude.
