Description: The Y Early Childhood Program at St.Albans is an approved ACT 166 preschool site. The YMCA's experience in providing quality child care for over 25 years ensures that the care provided at the St. Albans Early Childhood Program is of the highest quality. The center contains separate areas for children groups and for administrative work. A playground next to the building provides the children with a secure and safe outside play area. Some parking spaces have been provided in front of the building for convenient parking during drop off and pick-up; signs indicate which spots are reserved. Other activities that are offered: Emergent Curriculum, Meeting Time, Daily outside play, Dramatic play, Regular daily routine, Sand and water play, Songs or music activities, Story time or literacy. We also have a community partnership with Electric Youth Dance Company and our preschool takes dance lessons once a week with a recital at the end as a culminating activity.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
