Noncompliance Area: On Monday August 12th, 2019 at approximately 10am, Child #1 was inside the facility by Staff #1 who took the remainder of the Preschool aged children outside, there were 9 children in the group. Child #1 was discovered by Staff#2 in the hall outside of his classroom and returned him to the group. It estimated that he was inside unsupervised for approximately 3-5 minutes. Child #1 was in the Primary Care Group of Staff #1. Correction Required: The legal entity must submit documentation in a format approved by DHS proving that the facility procedure for counting children is followed at all times e.g., a checklist. The legal entity will confirm continuing compliance by sending copies of the documentation to the Regional Office of Child Development and Early Learning on a weekly basis for a period of three months after DHS approves the documentation format. |
