I have used this provider for less than 6 months
First off my grandbaby has gone there maybe two months and has been bitten 10 times with nothing being done about it. She comes home multiple times with bruises consistently. We have now taken her out of daycare there, I would not recommend this place as a first choice, second or third, only as last resort.
Also watch out for false claims by the owner or staff.
My son and his wife placed their infant son in this facility. Out of the 6 weeks he was there he was sick for 3. He would get well, go back, get sick again. Also, they told my daughter-in-law that there was no crib sharing. That my grandson would have his own crib and no other baby would use it. They didn't adhere to that as I picked him up twice and he was in a different bed each time. Also, the last time he became sick he didn't eat all day and they didn't call my daughter-in-law until 4:00. They said the director said not to. He told my daughter-in-law that most parents don't want to be bothered at work. What?? I agree with another reviewer here. If I could give this facility less than one star I would.
I wouldn’t give a star if I could. Mr James is a money hungry man. He treats the employees horrible. They get paid on fridays and dates the checks for the following Tuesday. He gives discounts to people who pay straight up, if you get government assistance he jacks the rates up. This should be illegal. He charges someone on assistance $100 a week for one kid. If they could afford that, they wouldn’t be on assistance. I know someone that works at the north shore location and she hates it but loves the kids. She has worked at both centers. His own assistant director can’t stand him. He has all kinds of people he pays under the table to come in and help, cook, clean and treats his payroll people like dirt. You never see him. You can only talk to him via the phone. I’ve also heard that they flip the kids in the head if they are being bad and he does nothing about it. He talks to these ladies like they are 10. It’s a shame that he is even in business. Do not send your kids there. He allows kids that are sick to stay, therefore, possibly infecting workers and other kids.
I don't write reviews often..Someone needs to read this... The previous review about neglect... That was my first sign, my second sign was hearing a teacher yell SHUT UP at an infant in the baby room. My third sign was picking my child up from school to find 3 golf ball sized knots on his head. Despite the fancy surveillance system, the owner nor teachers had any idea of what happened. I took my child to children's and pulled my kids out immediately. The owner is a fraud and very muniplative. I wish I would have listened to my first instinct instead of letting him con me over. Most of the good reviews are from the workers. He is opening a second location in the northshore area. Please be aware.
