About the Provider

Waldon Woods is a Pre K-5th grade elementary school nestled in the suburbs of our nations capital. With current enrollment at over 600 students, Waldon Woods is among the largest in terms of enrollment in Prince George's County. The administration, teachers, PTA and students work together to make sure Waldon Woods, affectionately known as WWES, is among the best schools in Prince George's County Elementary School. The teachers are encouraged to ask thought provoking questions of students educating the whole child; the students are encouraged to think beyond normal constraints of education; the PTA is a major source of support for teachers, students, and parents. If you visit us during dismissal you'll hear uplifting instrumental music as students conclude their day and prepare for silent dismissal. If you visit when students are arriving, you'll see administration standing the lobby smiling and greeting the students of WWES every morning. Waldon Woods believes children come first.
