About the Provider

For years, the Tampa community dreamed of having a successful Islamic school for their children. Alhamdulillah, the Universal Academy of Florida (UAF) fulfilled this dream when it was founded on August 28, 1992. Today, families travel from all across the country to relocate near our ever-growing and, Alhamdulillah, ever-improving establishment. UAF received accreditation in 1997. This year, we are celebrating our 18th Anniversary! Alhamdulillah, we have consistently received accreditation renewal by SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools), FCIS (Florida Council of Independent Schools) and FKC (Florida Kindergarten Council). At the Universal Academy of Florida, we strive to maintain a balance between offering a competitive curriculum academically while promoting Islamic understanding and practices. We try hard to provide a safe and nurturing school atmosphere while instilling an Islamic identity in our students. The commitment to produce bright students who are conscious of Allah and who maintain Islamic character and high academic standards is our priority at UAF. The Academy endeavors to achieve these goals by approaching the education process holistically - by satisfying the cognitive, spiritual, psychological, physical and social needs of our students.
