I do not recommend Under the Sun Childcare Center.
1. Often fail to make incident reports that your children will tell you about later on.
2. Director failed to report back to staff about parent concerns and make changes.
3. There are no cameras in the building so when you pick up your child who says their teacher physically dug her nails into them.. it cannot be verified. Police, cps, and licensing were involved. Despite her raw fresh nail dug mark on her arm, nothing was done because there were no witnesses or cameras. They also chose NOT to suspend the teacher during the investigation.
4. My child complained about being withheld fluids several times at lunch time as an incentive to get her to eat more food...from the same teacher that physically assault her. This is against licensing policies.
Please read LARA reports available online before considering this center. After speaking to a fellow parent, I am not the only parent that has gone through similar issues.
